Warhammer The Horus Heresy - Legions Imperialis: Whirlwind and Scorpius Missile Tank Squadrons

The Scorpius is a pattern of armoured vehicle created, at the behest of the Space Wolves Legion, to provide indirect fire support for assault actions via its advanced missile launcher systems. Well-suited to such high intensity operations, it was approved for service across the entire Legiones Astartes before the outbreak of the Horus Heresy. Alongside the Scorpius, several other mobile artillery units are commonly seen in the arsenals of the Legiones Astartes, including the Whirlwind. Mounting an indirect-fire multiple missile launcher, the Whirlwind provides saturation fire, bracketing a large area with its explosive payload.
This multipart plastic kit builds four Whirlwinds and four Scorpius Missile Tanks, mobile artillery for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Legions Imperialis. Both are capable of indirect fire, with the Scorpius focusing on taking out enemy vehicles, Knights, and even Titans, while the Whirlwind excels at driving enemy infantry out of cover. Up to four of your vehicles can be fitted with an optional dozer blade, offering a degree of customisation to your missile tanks.
